Your 2014 Skin Care Goals

It's that time of year again when the resolutions begin to fly- losing weight, stopping smoking, and exercising more. The trouble is they are rarely accomplished because they involve complicated life stYle changes that are always under scrutiny. Once you make your resolutions known there is always someone monitoring and commenting on the weight loss or lack of and exercise equipment becomes a catch-all for everything from clothes to dust. Hopes are dashed and the old ways of living continue.

I don't believe in resolutions because I consider them designs for failure. They require dramatic adherence to new regimens. I much prefer less publicized goals instead, small changes in lifestyle that are a variation on a daily routine such as skin care. Everyday at least once a day or more we slather on a bunch of chemicals in hopes that our dry skin will flake less, our oily skin will appear less shiny and our acne outbreaks will be fewer. We also use these chemicals to try to heal cracked heels, rough elbows and knees and heal the nicks, cuts, abrasions and bruises associated with the tasks of everyday activities. The labels offer up a laundry list of ingredients we don't always understand but trust they will get the job done without harming us. We use these same chemicals to care for a baby's tender skin and the skins of our kids.

This year instead of resolutions, make the decision to create a better skin care program by using organic skin care products that promote healthy skin that does not struggle to breathe under the weight of petroleum based products, and restoring health to dry cracked skin that serves as a pathway for disease. No matter what your skin issues are, we have a product to meet your needs.

I am looking forward to helping you achieve your skin care goals in 2014 and beyond with a few simple organic ingredients blended into lotions, creams and salves to make your skin look and feel healthy and simply wonderful!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
